hi grethe sorry ive not been near my pc for a while

if you run the exe file for your affinity designer and click as if you are going to install ....
you will get an option to repair ...image below

so do not un-install ..... run the exe file and try the repair first ...that is what i would do.
you may have to install all your styles and pallets etc after wards so it may be best to save them..... i dont know if it will go back to default i have not tried it .

I'll check and see where repair is on my PC for AD repair Grethe.

I just now saw your reply on how to find the .EXE file Teejay.   :thanks06:

I do not find any repair options on my Windows 10 Anniversary update versions; and no repair options in AD itself either Grethe.

Teejay, can you tell us where to look? All I have is Windows 10 operating system and no idea what OS Grethe has..

I only find the first version we got, not 1.5.2.58 I think the reason is we just upgraded and I didn't saved that upgrade?
I use Windows 10 too.
So no repair button so far.

I have the last one. I can't find the download, guess I downloaded and install without saving a copy. I learned a lesson there!  :boink:
So, my conclusion is to wait for the next upgrade. Can't be that long?! After all, I do have those clips.

Grethe, did you try going to the View/Studios and unchecking Assets?   Try that, then close the program.  Re-open and go back to View and click the Assets tab.   That might trigger something to work.  There is also a Reset Studio button on the Studio flyout. It will close the Assets tab and you can then re-open it.

I didn't find any place to do a repair.

Hmmm...wondering if this would help you Grethe?  I was stumbling around and my original inquiry was  "can one delete the assets.propcol and have it rebuilt?"  I found this on the Affinity Designer forum site and thought it might be worth a try for you.
