Settling in upate - SherylC
« on: May 26, 2017, 10:14:59 AM »
My two foster siblings (8 yrs and 12 yrs) that arrived at our door with hardly anything to speak of two weeks ago are settling in nicely. Lovely children and very bright. They are slowly learning some social graces and loosing some long established habits that they have acquired through poor parenting. We have boundaries in place and they are slowly accepting them. We have a long way to go yet but it's early days and already making progress. :)

It would be hard work taking on foster children and trying to work with them it must make you feel proud when they start changing but it must be hard to give them up again.
