To change your Text and Line Widths from Points to Pixels in AP and AD, select Preferences, User Interface and UNtick the boxes as per screenshot. You will now see that the Text and Widths will display in Pixels.

If you are having image colour issues then you can also adjust the UI Gamma from here too. Make a mental note of where the slider is before you change it though so you can revert back if required.
