Title: AD
Post by: Rege on October 06, 2020, 12:39:04 PM
Once again AD has put me in misery!
I was trying to make a stamp that looked like an Australian stamp seen on the web.
I was using the square and circle method and everything was fine until I subtracted the circles and used the Corner Tool to round off the edges.
AD then had the good idea to turn some knots into "Smart Nodes", making them insensitive to the "Corner Tool". I made several tests and the results were all different, sometimes all four sides of the stamp were different, sometimes only two, etc.
On my screenshot my last test with the view of the knots, the result and finally my state of mind towards AD (once again).
To get the correct result, I had to make one side, then past it three times and finally draw a square in the centre to join the whole, it really sucks as a behaviour.

I agree with you that is a very basic step and it is shameful AD cannot do it.
