I just tried it on the image I was finishing. It worked as described two times with the undo and the redo .....but on the third time I got a box saying something about a print size.

You have been assigned this mountain to show others it can be moved.

I can't get it to misbehave. The Ctrl Z and Ctrl Y are undoing and redoing as they should.

Okay,  here's what I did.  I made a yellow rectangle, then duplicated it 3 times.  I then pressed CTRL+Y .  That caused the color to disappear from my rectangles.  The colors show in the layers, but not on the objects.

Then I drew a blew ellipse and again, no color on the workspace but the blue shows in the Layers.  Same with the red.  So, how do I get my colors back on the images?

I went back and created a new document. Drew three shapes, then pressed CTRL+Z to undo the shape, which it did, but when I followed that with CTRL+Y, it removed the color from the other two shapes.  There is definitely a problem here.

Teejay, you need to report it.  I just did but it takes more than one person to get them to notice it.

MaryLou, you didn't Undo before you did the Redo if I am reading your post correctly. I think for Redo to work you have to have something that you did an Undo on first.

I did it it version 1.5.0.35 and when I went back there was a new update!!!! They sure come fast now. The point is both works great in the latest version and like Lynn mentionned I apply undo first and then the redo.

Ctrl + Y problem
« Reply #8 on: November 11, 2016, 02:40:13 pm »
Linda, I cannot do that.  When I press CTRL+Y, it toggles back and forth between the line mode and the regular mode.   I have downloaded the latest version and even reset my tools to no avail.

Those of you who have downloaded this version, please test to see what you get with CRRL+Y!   Just draw a few shapes, then press those keys and see what happens.

When you say "works for me", what are you saying?   What does it toggle?

Lynn, I did do an undo.   Here are my steps.

1.  Drew an ellipse.
2.  Filled it with a green color
3.  Filled it again with a red color.
4.  Undid the red color with CTRL + Z.
5.  Decided I liked the red afterall and did CTRL+Y to Re-do.
6.  The result is the image changed to the Outline View.

I have reset my tools, have the latest version but cannot re-do with CTRL+Y.

MaryLou I have tested what you did....
For me I was able to undo and redo as many times as I wanted.
But I will say that on 2 occasions, when undoing and redoing I had to hit  the keys a second time.  .
It seems that on those 2 times the select step was not there. I mean as I do not manually reselect the item it  has the selected lignes around at all times.
Hope I explained well enough what I did.

Yes, that made sense, Nicky.  Apparently, Teejay and I have the same problem but you guys don't!  I am sure I'd never use this feature but it needs to be right for those that will.

I'll see what Teejay has to say tomorow after she downloads the latest one.
