I bought it too
« on: November 21, 2016, 06:43:20 pm »
Hi gang,

I bit the bullet too. Actually it was my second new "toy". I got another truck, a 2008 Ford F250 Super Duty. My son was driving my other truck and had a freak accident. Fortunately, no one was hurt but the truck was totaled. It's going to take some getting used to since it's a 4x4 and sits higher than the F150.

I'm going to go through the tutorials that are on the site until we get some here. So far, I like what I see.

Rickybob, we will be doing all of those right here.   There is a schedule in the General forum as to when the projects are posted.  Glad you bit the bullet, so to speak.  Now you'll learn right along with the rest of us!!

Sorry to hear about your truck being totaled but glad no one was  hurt. Trucks can be replaced, but people can't.

I always wanted to drive a truck but I'm too short!!   :dancegirl: :dancegirl:

Hi Mary Lou,

My wife's car is a Toyota Solara convertible and my hood is about even with the top of her roof. She's only 4'10" so she would have a real problem getting into the truck.

LOL!!!  Get her some high heel boots!!!   I'm 5 ft but have trouble getting into those big trucks.  However, I have driven a 32 ft RV a few times.  Scared the heck out of me but the driver insisted - he was too tired.

I drive an OLD car - a 1998 Ford Escort Zx2.  It's like brand new and has just over 40 thousand miles on it. Should last me the rest of my life.. I hope!! :chickdance:

I'm 5'4" and can't get in any tall truck or even van, I have short legs, I have a Honda van, it's lower than most other vans.
Glad you got AD RickyBob! it's awesome!

Keep on smiling! It will make people wonder what you're up to!! :)
