New Affinity website
« on: February 04, 2019, 05:16:24 AM »
I got an e-mail today that this site went live.  https://affinity.graphics/   I took a really quick look a minute ago and it looks interesting.  But, I have to run off to work so thought I would share this here before I go!

Linda, this site certainly wasn't put online recently because when I went there, I realized that I already had it in my bookmarks and I absolutely didn't remember it!
Nevertheless, thank you for sharing information. :thumb3:

I just bookmarked the new version and deleted the old bookmark for the earlier version.

Lynn you're right, I modified the bookmark without clicking on it but I recognized the site by following your link.
Considering the content of the site that shows resources found on the official Serif site, I think that's where I found this site. I had completely forgotten it, especially since it was put in the "Fonts" folder, I was rather distracted when I recorded it! :duh:

New to me, however, I do remember we did the Queen of Hearts card in one of our earlier workshops.  I did not recognize any of the other items there and the Dream styles that I do have in AD came from other sources I think....maybe the Affinity forum? Anyway, it is interesting and I do now have it bookmarked.  Thanks Linda.

Wow, do I feel left out!  I did not get an email so I'm going to sit in a corner and  :tears: all over the place.

I remember that queen of hearts too.  Nice site and will be a good resource for all of us.    :thumb3:

I think I signed up for the emails at some point, but it's been awhile since I did.  I didn't know about the original web site either!  I probably found it on the forum, but it's nice to have it all going to one place.  I don't get to visit the forum very often!

:yes01:  I didn't think anyone would notice!!!  We need all the publicity we can get and hope to build our membership back up again!!!  He put the tuts as Intermediate. I asked him to please change that to beginner - not sure if he did or not.

Teejay and San - you need to get your sites listed too.   :yeah:  His is a new site and it looks like he's trying to become a resource center, which is good, so I'm sure he won't have any trouble adding you guys!
