Okay, Rege, what is an "Auguste"? You gave the French title for a Ringmaster, so I'm lost out in left field!

That said, your clown is  :praise34: That French look is quite distinctive.

Voici les définitions des différents types de clowns que j'ai trouvées sur ce site (désolé il est en français), I was astonished to see the large number of sites on the subject when I searched!:

https://sites.google.com/site/clllooowwwnnn/les-differents-types-de-clowns

"The white clown, dressed in a shimmering and serious costume, is, in appearance, dignified and authoritative. He wears the lunar mask of the Pierrot: a white make-up, and an eyebrow (more rarely two) traced on his forehead, called signature, which reveals the character of the clown. Red is used for the lips, nostrils and ears. A fly, a definite reference to the marquises, is placed on the chin or cheek. The white clown is beautiful, elegant. Airy, sparkling, mischievous, sometimes bossy, he emphasizes the august.

The Augustus (l'Auguste)
The Augustus wears a red nose, make-up using black, red and white, a wig, brightly coloured burlesque clothes, huge shoes; he is totally impertinent, he engages in all kinds of buffoonery. He destabilizes the white clown, whose enterprises he constantly causes to fail, even if he is full of good will. The august man must perform in a number in which one accident follows another. His world often clashes with that of the white clown who dominates it.

The counter clown (le contre-pitre) is the august's second and his counterfoot. "Auguste de l'auguste" is a goofy clown who understands nothing, forgets everything, and whose initiatives end in disaster, rekindling laughter."

Thanks for the explanation, Rege. I was unaware that there were different types of clowns.

I did immediately think of Pierrot when I saw the head of your clown!

Keep on smiling! It will make people wonder what you're up to!! :)
